Corps Mentorship Programme (CMP)
The Corps mentorship program is a SAED Post-Camp training initiative sponsored by Jomo Resource Center and designed to achieve the following objectives:
- To encourage Post-Camp training by covering 50% training fees on 51 highly sought-after courses in tech, Digital marketing, Corporate and Business development.
- To extend training opportunities and facilities to Corps Members serving in rural communities with little or no access to physical training facilities through online and virtual training.
- To deepen interest in post-camp training by extracting first hand commitment through a Subscription fee.
- To provide mentorship and support for Corps Members seeking a career switch, or corps members seeking to pursue a different career path from their course of study.
- To contribute immensely to the entrepreneurship development effort of the scheme through free business consultancy and 50% discount on business development courses.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
- I am going on relocation, can I still apply for CMP? YES. All 51 courses covered by CMP are online courses that can be taken from any part of the world with average network coverage and a smart phone, iPad or laptop.
- After leaving camp, how long do I have before I can apply for my course(s)? While the offer last throughout the service year, all candidates are encouraged to order and finish their courses within the first three months in service.
- There are 51 courses, How do I identify the right Course to choose? Evaluate your personal interest, academic discipline, and choice of career to ensure you’re picking the right course. A list of all the courses is available on our website. A PDF copy will be made available to all candidates for the purpose of convenience. Our staff members will also be there to help candidates identify the right course.
- Why is the N1, 500.00 Subscription Fee Necessary? It is a means of extracting first hand commitment from all applicant and ensure only serious candidates would apply.
- Can I pay the full fee for my course In-camp? Yes. You can make payment for your course as soon as you’re certain of the courses to take. All courses are available online and all payments are made online on the learning portal or to the companies account directly. Payment to individual or private account is not allowed.
- If I am not picked among the candidates, can I still train with the company? Yes. All Corps Members are entitled to 20% discount on their Post-camp training with Jomo Resource Center. CMP just grant additional 30% discount and access to career mentorship and free e-Books.
- Can I apply or complete my CMP application after camp? No. Application for CMP is strictly on-camp and would be closed as soon as the target is reached.

- What is the duration of the training? Training duration is course dependent. Because the courses and the learning platform is designed to enable self-paced learning, candidates can finish their courses at any time of their choosing. However, there is a maximum period attached to each course within which candidates must finish the course.
