WHAT IS POST-CAMP TRAINING?

A Post-Camp training is any Skill Acquisition, Job-ready training or Enterprise development programme undergone by corps members after the orientation course. It encompasses all forms of formal & informal training which have potential to equip corps members for personal, professional and business success. The following are some specific reasons to engage in Post-camp training:

1. Post-Camp training provides you the opportunity to add more weight to your academic qualification.
2. It’s an indication of personal commitment to growth. A trait highly cherished by employers of labour.
3. It is a means of improving or obtaining core-competences with clear set-out objectives.
4. The opportunity to engage in training programmes at discounted rates.
5. Ease of Career change or career switch with limited consequences.
6. Opportunities for grants and financial empowerments.
7. SAED Post-camp training Certificate.

REGISTRATION & DOCUMENTATION:

Upon completion of training or when requested to do so, Corps members are required to document with their respective Local Government Inspectors (LGI). The documentation is an official record that indicates that a corps members have undergone the exercise. The SAED branch across the states collate the data and use same to prepare Post-camp training certificate for deserving corps members.

In Cross River State, after successful documentation with the LGI, Corps members are required to register on the SAED by following the process bellow:

1. Click or input saedcrs.online in your browser
2. Scroll down to Post-camp Training column and click on “See More”
3. Click on the Register Button from on the new page
4. Select your Batch & Stream
5. Fill out the form and submit.

PS: The above steps are strictly for Corps Members serving in the state.

PPS: LGI Serial number refers to the serial number your name falls on the LGI Documentation List.

PPPs: Ensure to write your name as you want it on the certificate and your state code in full.
