Photo editing involves enhancing and manipulating images to improve their appearance, and correct imperfections to convey a desired mood or message. With the proliferation of smartphones and mobile apps, photo editing has become accessible to everyone, allowing users to edit images directly on their mobile devices. Consider the following examples of mobile photo editing apps:
- Snapseed: Developed by Google, Snapseed offers a wide range of tools and filters for editing photos. It includes features like selective adjustments, HDR, curves, and healing tools.
- Adobe Lightroom Mobile: A mobile version of the popular desktop software, Lightroom Mobile provides powerful editing tools, including presets, selective adjustments, color grading, and advanced photo organization.
- VSCO: Known for its stylish presets and film-inspired filters, VSCO offers editing tools for exposure, color, and contrast adjustment, as well as film emulation effects.
- Instagram: Apart from being a social media platform, Instagram offers basic photo editing tools like filters, adjustments for brightness, contrast, saturation, and cropping.
FORMS OF PHOTO EDITING:
There are various forms of photo editing with the goal of producing whatever the author or photography wishes to achieve. The photographer have the liberty to make a lot of tweaks in order to achieve an end result. Consider the following:
